Devlog 8 - Join a Game Jam
Just took a week off. I'm in the middle of implementing all the individual weapon skills.
I think I'm going to submit this to Improve your game jam #18, just to have it in something. Improve your game Jam #15 is what actually got me working on this game again way back when, even tho I didn't do enough at the time to submit anything and just kind of dropped out.
I'm hoping that by the end of THAT jam I can finish the basic level and decide if this is something to pursue.
If I finish the main project before the jam is over, I will move to trying to the Candy section and see what I can throw in.
Features Implemented:
Combat is much deeper and takes many more factors into account. Agents can block and parry. Formulas may be tweaked in the future.
Implemented all axe skills.
LOTS of behind the scene restructuring. If I do move forward with this game, I want the code to be... well, not a giant mess. So I've made it a lot more manageable.
Created all skills and loaded onto weapons.
