Devlog 3 - Not Sure where Devlog 1 and 2 went
I'm not exactly sure what happens, but earlier devlogs seemed to have disapeared.
Tons of changes since last Update.
All characters have at least one spec. Finishing The second Shieldbearer spec then on to the rogue's second. Then done.
Too many changes to name. Highlights include:
- SO many bug fixes
- Players are now agents that have characters. A player can have a main and an alt.
- When a match ends, you can have another. Would be tough to make a tycoon game if it stops after one fight.
- Complete overhaul to how stats, effects and hazards work. Ground up change makes them way easier to use and customize
- Added tooltips to many things, Effects, Characters, etc.
- Add a player skill system for each class. Which determines their logic tree. A 3* Mage plays better than a 2* mage.
- Some balancing, tho after the bug fixes, with all spells working as intended, it's a little out of whack again
To do for next Update:
- Finish the 2 remaining Specs.
- Next pass at balance
- Give players the ability to respond to battlefield commands (Heal X! Stop DPS! etc)
Slightly longer term
- Add a system for keeping time
- Program Loot drops
- Create first real boss
- Program the skill development system - Events, modifiers, diminishing returns, different coeff for diff classes, skill caps
Long term
- Flesh out the Management side of the Game
